Grayson McCall expressed gratitude for the chance to work with both new coordinator Drew Hollingshead and Beck.
McCall decided to join NC State, in the transfer portal, for his last eligible season. As he had a record of multiple head injuries, in October, he made an announcement that he would retire from playing.
McCall holds the distinction of being the sole player in his collegiate career to receive the prestigious title of Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year on three separate occasions.
