Myrtle beach, SC; January 28, 2025 – The bank today marked the opening of its first retail branch in Myrtle Beach, the bank’s first branch along the Grand Strand. The bank also announced plans to add up to nine new Chase branches in the area stretching from Pawley’s Island, SC to Calabash, NC over the next three years.
The bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new Chase branch at 8006 N Kings Highway. This opening marks the start of a broader expansion locally driven by strong customer growth and demand. The addition of up to nine Chase branches along the Grand Strand and in surrounding communities will enhance access to the bank’s comprehensive banking services and create local job opportunities.

This expansion is part of a broader strategy to grow the bank’s presence in the Carolinas. By the end of 2025, the firm anticipates operating more than 100 branches throughout the Carolinas, reinforcing its dedication to becoming the easiest bank to do business with and becoming the bank for all. To support this growth, the bank will hire staff locally, including bankers, branch managers, business bankers, and financial advisors.
Designed as advice centers, bank branches combine modern design, open layout, and state-of-the-art banking technology to reflect how customers engage today. The new Myrtle Beach branch, managed by Clint Hauck, exemplifies this approach, providing a welcoming environment for customers and offering a range of services through a team of employees including a Private Client advisor, relationship bankers, a home lending advisor and a business banker. The branch also features both a walk-and drive-up ATM. Conveniently located near a Publix Super Market and active shopping plaza, the branch is well-positioned to serve the community.

In addition to this location, the bank plans to open additional Myrtle Beach locations including in a low-to -moderate-income location as well as locations in Murrells Inlet, North Myrtle Beach and Pawley’s Island, South Carolina and in Calabash and Leland, North Carolina.
The bank began opening branches in South Carolina in 2019, following the establishment of a Commercial Banking office in Greenville in 2015. As of today, the bank now has nearly 30 branches in South Carolina, including this first one in Myrtle Beach. Today, the bank has more than 300 employees across the state including in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and it continues to grow and expand in additional communities throughout the state.
