NRMLA announces first event of 2025

The National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) this week announced its first conference of 2025 in the form of its Western Regional Meeting, the first such event to take place since 2023.

NRMLA will hold the event in Irvine, California, on April 29, initially announcing it via an emailed member alert. The association has yet to announce any details about the specific venue or programming content, but trade group president Steve Irwin told HousingWire’s Reverse Mortgage Daily (RMD) that it will be a full program.

“NRMLA is delighted to announce its Western Regional Meeting will be April 29, 2025 in Irvine,” Irwin said. “We look forward to a full day of insightful discussion on our industry’s most pressing issues and opportunities. Of course, we will also allow for plenty of opportunities for networking.”

Additional news about other events the association is planning is also forthcoming, Irwin explained. “NRMLA looks forward to announcing our other events in the very near future,” he said.

The trade group did not hold a specific Western Regional Meeting in 2024, since the location of its Annual Meeting and Expo, San Diego, was in close proximity to the Western meeting’s typical setting. The 2022 and 2023 versions of the event also took place in Irvine, while in-person events were shut down in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, NRMLA held only two events — the Eastern Regional Meeting in May in Washington, D.C., and the Annual Meeting in San Diego.

Additional details will be shared as they are announced.
