Myrtle Beach Police are looking into the passing of an individual who plunged from a hotel balcony in Myrtle Beach. The hotel balcony fall is considered a mystery at this time.
Understanding the Risks of Hotel Balcony Falls
The incident involving a fatal fall from a hotel balcony is currently under investigation. Authorities were called to the Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort at 2207 S. Ocean Blvd around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday night.
Myrtle Beach Police spokesperson Randolph Angotti stated that it is uncertain if the individual leaped or tumbled.
The Myrtle Beach Fire Department arrived at the scene, but since the individual was already deceased, there was no need for transportation, as stated by spokesperson Jon Evans.
The individual’s name has not been disclosed by the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Police were investigating a death, leading to the closure of a segment of South Oceanfront Boulevard for an extended period.
