5 Robberies at Gun Point in Myrtle Beach, one victim forced to withdraw cash from ATM

 Authorities are investigating a string of robberies at gun point in Myrtle Beach.

Understanding the Rise of Robberies at Gun Point in Myrtle Beach

The robberies took place from Tuesday evening to early Wednesday morning, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Two victims were reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the 1100 block of Celebrity Circle.

Police say the second robbery occurred in the area of 2200 N Ocean Boulevard, where two people allegedly robbed a male victim at gunpoint in a parking lot and left.

MBPD reported that the third incident occurred on North Kings Highway in the 4000 block. A male victim, sitting in his car, was approached by two individuals who tried to enter his car using a gun. The victim managed to escape by driving away.

In the fourth robbery, a man was reportedly abducted at gunpoint from a parking area on the 6600 block of Colonial Drive, forced to withdraw cash from an ATM, and then released.

Police officers reported that a woman was also a victim of an armed robbery in the 800 block of 65th Avenue North.

Four people have been arrested by MBPD in relation to these incidents.
