UWM unveils suite of AI-powered solutions ahead of flagship event

On Wednesday, United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) launched a new suite of six artificial intelligence-powered tools built specifically for independent mortgage brokers.

The tools, announced ahead of the company’s fourth annual UWM LIVE! event, are designed to simplify mortgage broker workflows, enhance client relationships and allow them to scale their businesses faster.

The suite includes six separate tools:

  • Lead Pipeline: Keeps mortgage brokers connected with past borrowers through timely mortgage activity alerts, such as when a client lists their home for sale or has their credit pulled for a mortgage, helping to recapture potential business opportunities. Brokers can also engage with new leads and previous clients by sending emails and texts through a dedicated phone number, with AI Smart Write technology generating personalized messages tailored to each client.
  • Action IQ: Acts as a centralized notification hub for daily tasks, consolidating action items from Lead Pipeline, text messages and account settings.
  • Easy Qualifier Redesign: Offers an easier way for mortgage brokers to price new loans and manage existing scenarios. The new search function allows brokers to look up scenarios by name, loan type, loan purpose and more. When creating new scenarios, brokers only see fields relevant to the selected products, reducing data entry tasks and speeding up quote generation. The tool also enables brokers to create side-by-side comparisons of up to three loan products and interest rates.
  • Loan Pipeline Enhancements: Described as a customizable pipeline built to provide the flexibility needed to match individual workflows and preferences, this system allows the user to filter and replace views. A new preview screen gives instant access to key loan details without needing to open each file.
  • Contacts Pipeline: Provides brokers with an organized way to access and manage contact information for all past UWM clients. It also allows them to add partners and contacts from outside UWM and send targeted marketing campaigns to specific lists directly within the pipeline.
  • ChatUWM Assist: Enables brokers to receive AI-generated responses with information specific to the page they are on.

According to a press release from the Pontiac, Michigan-based company, president and CEO Mat Ishbia will reveal additional announcements on Thursday during UWM LIVE! The event is slated to bring together more than 5,000 mortgage brokers and real estate partners at UWM’s campus.
