Barefoot Resort Swing Bridge reduced to 1 lane for repairs

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Beginning Monday, January 13, the Barefoot Resort Swing Bridge will operate with only one lane of traffic to accommodate annual maintenance and the replacement of the sidewalk.

Temporary traffic control signals will be installed to manage vehicle flow, ensuring safety for both motorists and work crews.

The Barefoot Resort Swing Bridge project is expected to last approximately 60 days. Drivers are encouraged to plan for potential delays, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes if possible.
