Today, the owners of the Conway Slim Chickens franchise informed MyrtleBeachSC News that they will construct a second Slim Chickens restaurant at 2197 Church Street.
This new location will be built once the existing building, operated by RoadRunner Antiques, is demolished.
MyrtleBeachSC News expected a 2nd Slim Chickens franchise closer to the coast, but according to an email from Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development for Slim Chickens, it appears that the franchisee “had decided to move to a different location.”
The Conway Slim Chickens will arrive once the current structure in that area has been demolished.
Our reporters were aware that Slim Chickens was opening a second location in the Myrtle Beach area. As MyrtleBeachSC News reported, the restaurant chain recently launched their new spot on Oct. 21, located at 135 Sapwood Road in Carolina Forest, near Myrtle Beach.
