Fox News celebrates veterans in Myrtle Beach

In an effort to support and celebrate veterans, Fox News Co-host Ainsley Earhardt broadcast live today from Veterans Cafe in Myrtle Beach, SC

Today our nation celebrated Veterans Day along with the national news network.

Said Earhardt, “It was incredible to be surrounded by all of the amazing men and women who have served our country – especially on Veterans Day. The Veterans Cafe & Grille in my home state was the perfect place to honor those who have sacrificed so much.  As I looked around the room when Tyler Kinch was singing ‘Frontlines’, I was moved.  I saw the photographs on the wall of veterans, I watched as grown men held up the photos of their dads or grandfathers who served and I saw a little girl who made cards for the soldiers.  I was reminded of what so many before us did for our freedom.  We are safe and can worship freely because of them.  There was gratitude and love and it was a beautiful morning.  We are free because they were brave.” – Co-host of FOX & Friends Ainsley Earhardt

The picture above clearly shows a long queue forming outside the cafe at 5:30 a.m. The line extended from the building and stretched across the shopping center situated in that area.

Ainsley emerged into a gentle drizzle to speak to the sizable gathering assembled outside in the parking lot.

Veterans Cafe encountered challenges regarding a potential closure in late August. The Fox News coverage provided a much-needed boost to both the cafe and the Myrtle Beach community.

Surfside Beach U.S. Congressman Fry was on site for the Fox News broadcast
