Today’s scheduled Zoom Press Conference by the National Consumers League will feature fired liberal, Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioners Richard Trumpka and Mary T. Boyle.
Richard Trumpka and Mary T. Boyle remain very outspoken about the cuts DOGE have highlighted as necessary in reforming the U.S. Government. Each were fired by email last night.
Liberal Democrat Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, NCL Board Member and Former Executive Director of the CPSC (1995-2001), will be championing their cause on the 2 p.m. zoom call.
The National Consumers League (NCL) is generally considered a liberal organization. NCL’s founding and early leadership by figures like Florence Kelley and Josephine Lowell, who were prominent social reformers, further solidify the National Consumers League’s liberal image.
Florence Kelley gained prominence as a social reformer primarily recognized for her efforts in establishing the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Richard Trumpka’s Response to Recent Firings
As to their statements about the firings:
The Statement of Commissioner Richard Trumka is available here.
Commissioner Mary T. Boyle’s statement is available here.
Commissioner Alexander Hoehn-Saric’s statement is available here.
The National Consumers League’s statement on the illegal firing attempt is available here.
The pushback on President Trump’s efforts to reform and transform the U.S. Government continue.
MyrtleBeachSC News fully expects a rogue, Federal Judge, to quickly file a motion on behalf of Richard Trumpka, attempting to once again impede any chance of the transformational change America voted for last November.
