Spivey-Foley Lawyer closed on JP Miller Home and Solid Rock Church. Brother-in-law owned home with JP

Records show that a JP Miller home was co-owned by Natasha Hanna’s brother-in-law, Kirk Hanna. Natasha Hanna Law represents Jennifer Spivey Foley in a civil case against Weldon Boyd.

Jennifer Spivey Foley is the sister of Scott Spivey who was shot on Camp Swamp Road September 9, 2023, after racing down Highway 9 waving his gun at other drivers. Scott Spivey had a blood alcohol level of .13 at the time.

Horry County records indicate that Kirk Hanna co-owned a house with JP Miller, who’s wife died under mysterious circumstances on April 27, 2024. Public records show Kirk Hanna, JP Miller and Natasha Hanna have done business since beginning in 2016.

The JP Miller home was sold, with a closing by Natasha Hanna in 2016. Kirk Hanna, who owns Hanco of Horry County, has previously drawn unwanted attention for his company’s questionable ethical practices of that same year.

Former Pastor JP Miller from Solid Rock Church gained local notoriety after his wife’s alleged suicide. Those interested in learning more about the ex-pastor and the JP Miller home can tune in to podcasts hosted by well-known personalities across the state.

In 2016, Kirk Hanna, who is the brother-in-law of the well-connected Foley attorney, was unsuccessful in his election campaign runoff against Horry County Councilman Cam Crawford.

The Hanco website reads:

Kirk Hanna, the company President, founded Hanco of SC, Inc. in 2006. Hanco of SC, Inc. has several divisions within its company. The commercial division specializes in commercial projects from $250,000 to $9 million.

The residential division builds new homes and completes bath, porch and kitchen renovations to new million-dollar homes. We at Hanco work within a 90 mile radius from our home office. This ensures that we can control the quality of our projects and give the customer the product they have hired us to give.

Natasha Hanna, Spivey-Foley’s Myrtle Beach Lawyer, also closed the Solid Rock Church sale this past February 13, 2025 for $2.15 Million.

Lawyer Natasha Hanna also recently did the closing on Solid Rock Church in Market Common. After Hanna finalized the closure of Solid Rock Church, questions were raised locally. Sources have informed MyrtleBeachSC News that Miller had help in hiding monies and assets. We are investigating those matters at this time. More to come.

Living Water Church at Market Common Inc. had its articles of incorporation sanctioned in South Carolina on October 17, 2024, with Miller serving as the registered agent and using his JP Miller home address.

The Solid Rock sign was removed from the church building as of the closing.

PREVIOUS CONTROVERSY – HANCO

Paul Gable, of the Grand Strand Daily, wrote at the time of the run-off in 2016:

Voting Tuesday in the Horry County Council District 6 Republican primary runoff is clouded by the recent arrest of a one-time Hanco of SC employee.

Runoff candidate Kirk Hanna is the founder and president of Hanco of SC.

According to Horry County court records, nine arrest warrants for forgery, numbers 2015A2610700601 through 2015A2610700609, were served on Peter Bishop on June 11, 2015. Bishop is currently out on $45,000 bail.

The sworn statement on each of the warrants reads in part, “On (date of incident), while employed by Hanco of SC and working at (location of construction) the Defendant, Peter Bishop, did submit to Horry County Code Enforcement a fabricated soil compaction report on Applied Geotech, LLC letterhead and bearing the forged signature of Technician Michael Hayes.

According to the warrants, nine separate instances of fabrication and forgery of a soil compaction report occurred at nine Hanco construction locations over a 10 month period between August 2012 and June 2013.

Horry County Police Detective Marcus Rhodes, the investigating officer, declined comment on the case because it is still in the legal process. Rhodes did say the initial incident report for the case was filed approximately one year ago, with a supplemental incident report filed later.

Horry County Infrastructure and Regulation Division Head Steve Gosnell said he was not familiar with the particular documents involved, but did say, “Horry County takes very seriously any testing that involves the structural integrity of a project.”

MyrtleBeachSC News checked public records. The case was dismissed. Peter Bishop was not indicted and never served jail time.

JP MILLER, JP MILLER HOME, REAL ESTATE, and the entire connected crew

We have told our readers previously that the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors runs all things Horry County politics.

We have also told our readers that Lawyer Natasha Hanna is very influential. She sits on the Coastal Carolina Board of Trustees, along with Governor Henry McMaster, John H. Bartell Jr.
Seat 6, 6th Congressional District, Lee A. Belcher Seat 13, At-Large, William S. Biggs
Seat 3, 3rd Congressional District, and Eugene C. Spivey Seat 9, At-Large.

To say she is influential is an understatement.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS? – INFLUENCE

The Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors is a $30 billion annual industry. A CCAR endorsement gets elected candidates in office and provides a direct campaign contribution from its PAC.

One of the leading CCAR closing attorneys in Horry County is Lawyer Natasha Hanna.

Horry County Council is very beholden to the real estate industry. County Councilman Tyler Servant is in the real estate business. County Councilman Dennis DiSabato is a real estate closing attorney.

Horry County S.C. Representative Carla Schuessler is the Business Development Manager for G3 Engineering & Surveying. All three have taken campaign contribution(s) from Lawyer Natasha Hanna.

G3 Engineering & Surveying is a leading agency for converting farm land into homes. Says the G3 Website: Need a quick yield plan to figure out how many lots you can put on a piece of property?  We got you covered.  Just how many square feet of commercial, office or retail can you fit on that outparcel?  No problem.  How many townhome units or multifamily buildings can I fit on site?  We can help with that too.  Most of the time the process can start with just a phone call and a TMS number.  Just leave the rest to us.

CCAR is the major push behind roads planned out to western Horry County, that includes I-73. 411,000 Horry County residents are taxed to pay for four lane express roads that create access to undeveloped land.

The RIDE IV program in Horry County, South Carolina, is expected to cost approximately $6.6 billion over 25 years. The road is free for the CCAR related developers, however. Many have headquarters outside of the county.

I-73 and similar roads exacerbate farm to market traffic issues by increasing congestion on these routes due to the ongoing development of western land.

Here is how the cycle works: Horry County Council is at the bidding of CCAR. Horry County Police does the bidding for an unelected bureaucrat, appointed by Horry County Council. The Horry County Administrator appoints the HCPD Police Chief.

As more homes are built, more demands are made on infrastructure, like policing. An understaffed police force, with a history of high leadership turnover, creates magnified problems for the fastest growing county in S.C.

Corruption abounds when elected leaders are more concerned with real estate developments than with managing an effective police department.

Want Justice for Mica and Justice for the Spivey Family? Demand that HCPD be put under an accountable, elected leader, like the current Horry County Sherriff.

NOTE; MyrtleBeachSC News was not paid by the Spivey Family, the Sherriff’s office, Horry County, the Natasha Hanna Law Firm, JP Miller, proceeds from the JP Miller Home sale, HANCO of SC, nor any persons to publish this article.
